Our N95 masks have been tested and meet the NIOSH standard of N95. These masks are intended for protection against minerals, coal, iron ore, and many other substances including pathogens.
DEVELOPMENT HISTORY
Incidentally, the much referenced N95 was a model developed in the 1970's by 3M for industrial use, and subsequently adopted by the medical profession. This particle filtration technology has advanced since the 70s and is now manufactured by a selective few in this business sector.
HOW TO USE
The N95 series is extremely durable with a soft and comfortable inner surface, adjustable nose piece and secured head-strap to provide a proper custom fit. Clean hands with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer before and after touching or adjusting the respirator. It is recommended that you do not touch the inside lining of the respirator to avoid contamination.
